 Watch out for that sip UK government found that among the wines they tested they found wines with multiple pesticide residues had gone up 36%.

That is right 50% of the wines that the government tested came back with a range of pesticide cocktails and chemicals that are known to be harmful. Even living near these vineyards found that children had a higher risk of developing leukemia. A separate study on French wine found the chemicals they are using cause Parkinson’s disease.

I love a lovely glass of wine now and then but the only thing that we as consumers can do is buy wine at places like Wholefoods where the wines labeled organic must be made with 95% organically produced ingredients aka not pesticides.

Carcinogens are being found in more and more places even the wine we drink they found that in 72 samples 19 had pesticides and 9 of those were known cancer causing agents!!

Being vigilant can be exhausting and expensive. As consumers we need to hold companies accountable. Making sure the FDA is doing its job as well as the EPA. That means we have to vote our health. We need to reach out to community leaders and state leaders and have them adopt a bill of rights for consumers that prevents companies from selling us things that will kills us! You would think that it’s not good business to kill your consumers but at this point companies are there for the money.
